How you start

Don’t transform the firm. Start with one piece of expertise.

Systemising how your firm thinks sounds like a programme. It is not. One business line, one outcome, four weeks - and at the end of month one a working model that is yours, tested on a real client, with three ways forward and nothing holding you in.

Four weeks is the first step on a longer road. You only take the next one when the last one has earned it.

The commitment

Fast to start. Guided all the way. Nothing holding you in.

A working model in week two. Ready to run on a live client engagement by the end of month one. No long-term contract at any point - if you stay, it is because it is working.

What we ask of you

One decision: which onboarding route suits you. We will help you pick, and that is the last thing you have to work out on your own.

Everything after that, we guide: building the model, testing it, and getting it in front of a client. You make the calls, we make sure they are easy ones.

The platform is simple to run and powerful in delivery. Onboarding is there to get you there faster - not because it is hard.

The decision flow: step one, Prove - build and test one line, your product built, working and in front of real clients. Step two, Then - choose your route: month one ends with a working product and a genuine decision, three ways forward, none locked in. A lock badge reads: no lock-in, your decision - branching to three routes: Route 1, Stop, keeping the model built with you; Route 2, Continue self-managed with Customer Success alongside; Route 3, Scale with support, optional and priced separately.

The one decision: which route

Guided · £595

Your own people do the building, with us guiding across four 1-hour sessions.

Right if you want the model in your own hands from day one, and you have a few hours of senior time to give it.
Shared Success · £1,995

A TheAX consultant builds it for you and supports you through a first client test.

Right if senior time is the scarce thing, and you would rather buy that time back than spend it.

Here is what the four weeks look like.

The steps

Explore, prove, then scale

Prove one line. Scale what works.

Step 1 · Explore — choose the line

Pick the business line that pays back first, before anyone starts building.

Route with a map pin

You choose the line; we help you weigh it. Which one is the strongest candidate for systemisation, both in what it would take to build and what it would return.

What happens
  • Establish which business line carries the most locked-up value
  • Define the outcome the first model should move
  • Shared Success: a strategic goals session does this with you
  • Guided: come knowing where you want to start
OutcomeClear starting pointPriority business lineClear proof plan

Step 2 · Prove — month one, week by week

Turn your expertise into a working model and get an assessment running on it. Four weeks either way - the difference is how much we do.

Week 1

Build

Introduction, model requirements walk-through, then a first draft model and the assessment built on it.

Guided You build the draft between sessions.

Shared Success We build the draft for you, after a strategic goals session.

Week 2

Internal test complete

First test and refinement, the model finalised and signed off. Model and assessment ready for client testing.

Guided You test and refine it, self-guided.

Shared Success We test and refine it with you, plus team platform training.

Week 3

Client testing in progress

Your CSM is assigned. Client testing begins - or extended internal testing if you would rather.

Guided You run it, support on hand.

Shared Success A feedback and progress review session partway through.

Week 4

Review and next steps

End of process review, what the tests showed, and plans in place for what comes next.

Guided One session.

Shared Success One session.

Both routes end month one with a tested model that is yours, and a plan for what comes next. Guided asks about four hours of your senior people’s time across the four weeks; Shared Success asks less of yours and more of ours.

Step 3 · Scale — month two onwards

Launch, sell and scale your product into a live, revenue-generating business line.

Handshake

Every customer has platform support and a named CSM. Axcend is the hands-on version - help to embed delivery, scale it across the firm, and get more commercial value out of the model you built.

What happens
  • Prepare go-to-market strategy and sales approach
  • Define pricing, packaging and commercial model
  • Design the continuous engagement model and AX Portals
  • Finalise delivery approach and repeatability
OutcomeLive revenue-generating business lineRepeatable, scalable deliveryFoundation for recurring revenue

From month two with your named CSMConsultant time is available whenever you want it - refinements, go-to-market, or extending into new business lines. Ask about the Axcend programme.

Questions about any of this? Most of them get answered in fifteen minutes - which line to start with, how much of your senior time it really takes, and which route fits your firm.

Where you are now

Five levels of systemisation.

Every consultancy sits somewhere on this scale, and the commercial model a firm can sell follows the delivery capability it has. Most firms are at L2 or L3. That is where the ceiling is.

L1Expert-led

The value sits in individuals and their CVs.

Day rates
L2Process-defined

Frameworks help. Delivery still depends on the people.

Day rates
L3Productised

Defined propositions and playbooks. Codified IP, static delivery.

Fixed priceThe barrier most firms hit
L4Outcome-led

Adaptive Outcome Pathways. The system carries the logic, not the consultant.

Outcome and value basedWhere the market is heading
L5Consultancy-as-a-System

Client self-service. Self-improving. Compounding at scale.

Subscriptions

An expertise layer is what makes the move past L3 possible. Productisation codifies what you do; it cannot codify the judgement that decides how to apply it. That is the step this four weeks starts.

Ten minutes, no preparation. You get your level and what it would take to move.

Optional · Free strategy session

Want to think bigger before you build?

For firms that want to step back first, we can run a separate strategy session on what Consultancy-as-a-System would mean for your model - before, alongside, or independent of getting started on the platform.

A structured working session with your leadership: where the market is moving, where your firm sits on the five levels above, and what a CaaS future would mean for your model, your people and your value. Strategy work in its own right - not a step in the sales process.

1. Orientate

Where the market is moving and why CaaS matters now.

2. Assess

Where your firm sits on the systemisation path today.

3. Imagine

What a CaaS future would mean for your model and vision.

4. Align

What it means for your people, value and next moves.

A clear view. A shared direction. Confident next steps.

Where your firm sits on the L1–L5 systemisation path

A clear view of your current position and the shifts required to move forward.

Which service lines hold the most locked-up value

Where to focus first for the greatest commercial impact.

What CaaS would mean for your commercial model and valuation

The strategic and financial upside of systemising your consultancy.

The first step costs fifteen minutes.

A quick chat to see what makes sense for your business - then a 60-minute conversation and a proper introduction to the platform. Start when you’re ready.
